Taurus .22 Magnum "J-Frame" Crossdraw Holster with Reloads

Worn over the left front pants pocket, this crossdraw style holster gives access to a backup, 3 inch, 8 shot .22 WMR, and sixteen extra rounds.  Fitted into a cartridge sleeve, and tucked into the holsters front pocket, the extra shots take up very little space.  The snap over-flaps are for retention, and they seal around the grip and prevent debris from dropping into the holster.  Keep this setup in a pack, wear as a backup, or give it to an ally.  In an emergency, 24 rounds of .22 Magnum are a decent backup plan.

The holster body is 13 oz, of 8oz Walpier Buttero bonded back to back with 5 oz Minerva vachetta smooth top grain, stitched with 138 black polyester.  The cartidge sleeve and pocket are both 5 oz Minerva vachetta.  Extra 16 round sleeves can be stashed in a pack or vest pocket, 2 included.
