I have been building this style of revolver holster for a few months now. This Smith and Wesson model 386 .357 L frame comes from their Performance Center. A scandium frame and stainless steel barrel means that even at 6 inches, it comes in at 28 ounces. It handles like a much smaller gun and still tames the .357 magnum round, a treat to handle and shoot. A 6 inch barrel means a longer holster and a longer cartridge sleeve. A full 7 round cylinder and 17 extra rounds gives you 24 rounds on-board.
Built of 7oz Conciera Buttero and lined with 5oz Minerva it has top grain on the inside and outside. The belt loop has 3 slots lined up for right side carry, or left side crossdraw carry. 2 retention straps hold the pistol securely and stops junk falling in from the top. An extra strap at the bottom protects the barrel tip from damage as well.
