Pancake Top Grain Lined Pistol Holster

A client provided 3 pieces he wanted to carry, in an outside the waistband, no retention condition.  The holsters are 9 oz Walpier Buttero outer, with 5 oz Badalassi Carlo Minerva Smooth "Vacchetta" inner linings.   His valuable guns never touch the flesh side of leather, where grit and debris can collect.   The holsters are more then 3/8 inch thick at the edges, and are double stitched with 130 "gold" polyester.  The edges are sanded through the grades up to 600 grit, burnished with Tokonole, and sealed with beeswax.   

Each holster went though an iterative process, to get the best fit.  After that, the guns were covered in plastic, and the holsters wet molded. This allows for a "snap fit" and when worn with a tight belt, have no chance of falling out under daily exertions. Holsters show were hand formed to fit a Springfield XD-40, PSA Dagger with compensator and red dot, and a sweet Desert Eagle 1911.
