Some pistols earn their place over decades of carry. This holster was built for exactly that gun, a well-worn Colt Government Model 1911 that needed to ride again. Pancake style, 15-degree forward cant, friction fit. Classic carry for a classic platform.

The Setup

• Fits 5-inch Government Model 1911s
• Pancake style OWB with 15-degree forward cant for a natural draw stroke
• Belt slots accommodate up to 1-3/4-inch belts
• Friction retention, molded to the pistol for a secure, consistent draw

The Build

• Outer: 8 oz Walpier Buttero in whiskey, warm, rich, and built to develop a deep patina with carry
• Liner: 5 oz Badalassi Carlo Minerva Vachetta in black smooth top grain, bonded and stitched to the outer
• 13 oz total body, stiff enough to hold its shape for the life of the holster
• Stitched with 138 black polyester thread, UV and moisture resistant for long-term field use
