Dress and Heavy Duty Belts

Belts are a staple in the leather shop. Both dress and heavy duty belts are constructed of two layers of top grain leather, bonded and stitched together. A layer of nylon webbing in between prevents stretching and adds a cushion layer.

Leather dress belts are typically designed for formal or semi-formal occasions, emphasizing aesthetics, style, and a polished look. They are usually made from thinner leather, which allows for a sleek profile that pairs well with dress pants or suits.  Usually black, brown or tan leather with a complementary top-stitch color, and a classic buckle.

Heavy-duty leather belts are crafted for functionality and durability to be used in work and practical environments.  They are expected to carry a load such as a radio, holster, knife/tool sheath and other EDC.  These belts are made from thicker leather to withstand wear and tear, featuring reinforced stitching and larger, sturdier buckles to support heavy loads.
